Delivery & Returns

I aim to send goods within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment. I will contact you if for any reason it is going to take longer than that.

Within the UK items are sent by 1st class post, for International destinations I use Royal Mail standard airmail service or International Tracked airmail for more valuable parcels

I am unable to predict an exact delivery time for overseas purchases as customs clearance times and local delivery schedules vary widely around the globe. However, as a rule, packages sent to addresses within Europe take 3 to 5 business days and to the USA, Australia and Japan 6 to 9 business days.

I'm afraid that I cannot be responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or the postal service as can happen from time to time.

For international shipments outside the EU a customs declaration has to accompany the package and I always state the actual sales price of the goods. Please do not ask for a lower value to be stated. Please note that any customs duties applied locally are the responsibility of the buyer.

I make a small charge for packaging. That cost is included in the postage charge.

Returns & Exchanges

Naturally I hope that you will be happy with your purchase, but if you wish to return an item you must notify me within 14 days of receiving the goods.


Goods must be returned to me within 3 weeks from receipt and care taken that they are not damaged in any way.


If your package was originally sent using a trackable insured service, then that is how it must be returned and the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.


The original postage will only be credited if the item is faulty or other than described.


Occasionally an item is returned 'undelivered' by the local postal service although the correct address has been used; in this case only the cost of goods and not postage will be refunded.

Additional Policies

I am happy to reserve items for a maximum of 7 days. After that time the reserve will be removed and the item put back on sale to all customers, unless agreed otherwise. Sorry to impose this, but it is disappointing when the well intentioned buyer doesn't complete their purchase as planned.

Please be sure to request a 'reserve' of an item if you are considering a purchase but are asking for further information or images before making a final decision. Items sell quickly on Etsy and I do sell privately also, so without a reserve being specifically requested, it isn't possible to guarantee that an item will still be available when you come to purchase.
